I hate Get Rich Quick Schemes.  I hate them more than you do, and I always have.

Really, I do. And if you give me a few seconds I will tell you why.

But first, let's start with how I got here, and why I'm writing this...

A few months ago, I was working on a website when I got an e-mail from an old colleague raving about this new Step-by-Step guide to creating multiple streams of income online called "The Easy Chair Millionaire"

Now, my friend is actually someone who I have worked with and whose opinion I trust, which is the only reason I clicked on the link in the first place.   He is actually the same guy who introduced me to the internet back in 1995.  And here I am...

"But why do I hate those damn Get Rich Quick Schemes  with a manic passion..."

Well, let me explain. I am an internet consultant and marketing specialist.  For the past 11 years, I have built sites for my clients, and have helped them design, market and most importantly, earn money.  It's what I do for a living.  My clients make money with the sites I build them, a LOT of money.  I manage Google AdWords accounts that spend thousands of dollars everyday and earn between 50% and 100% return on my clients websites.   In short, I know what I am doing.

But, I have never been a big fan of Get Rich Quick Schemes - for me, most of the money making systems I have seen are just poor quality, lacking value, credibility and substance.  But boy do they sell well, substance or not.  One thing is for sure, the promise of riches sounds great in a sales letter... and lots of newbies see "get rich now", and think "wow! here are my credit card details".

Many of these Get Rich Quick Schemes  filled the internet over the last few years, yet nobody was getting rich, except the guys who were selling these bogus packages...

So, you can imagine my thoughts when I got my friend's e-mail recommending "The Easy Chair Millionaire".  As I say, it was only because he was an old internet pro that I even clicked away.

When I reached "The Easy Chair Millionaire" website, I was actually pretty impressed with some of the features that this appears to have - NEVER have to create or maintain a website of your own, NEVER take or ship orders, NEVER deal with customers or follow up on leads and best of all, NEVER have to fork out any huge investments...

But, again, I have to be honest with you...,

At this point, I still thought to myself, "nice copy, easy to follow, lots of features, this will convert well... but yet again, it just isn't going to be too practical for building wealth or making money... so forget it".

And that was that; I left the site... but a few days later my friend e-mailed me, letting me know he had used "The Easy Chair Millionaire" to setup a few promotions and was about $200 up. He also said that I needed to drop what I was doing and get the package. So, I spent the excess in my Paypal account and half-heartedly purchased my copy of "The Easy Chair Millionaire"

Just so you know, I only purchased because... well, money isn't too much of an issue for me, and I was about to file it away on my to-do list when my friend started up again - in fact he pestered the hell out of me to get using the system once I had it!

So, I decided to give it a shot.  I mean, I always believe that even if I only learn one thing, just one good idea,  I could figure out a way to apply it to my daily work.  I mean if I could learn one new technique that could earn me, or my clients more money, then it would be worth it.
